How long after your missed period did you get a BFP?

I'm never late. I'm now 4 days late, have had tender breasts and cramping for over a week, and still no AF. Doctor says it could take 1-2 weeks for the hormone to show up on a urine test, but I don't understand that. How many days (or weeks) did it take for you to get a BFP?

Every person is diff. I've heard some get a BFP before the missed period. Others it may take up to 2 weeks after missed period. Just test again in a few days. If still negative, see the doc just to be safe. Good luck.

I got a positive the day my period was due. And a strong positive at that. Like the test turned positive while I was peeing on it.

Honestly I think doctors just say that because they don't want to see you, it's a waste of their time. If you are pregnant, they can't do anything yet. If you aren't they can't do anything yet. If doctors saw every woman who missed a period but got a negative HPT they'd literally be doing nothing all day. By telling you to wait 1-2 weeks and keep testing you stay out of their hair and either get a positive soon or your period shows up late.

Today is the 2nd day of my missed period.  I'm also having symptoms! I took a test this morning amd it was a BFN! I'm going crazy 😕

I don't see anything yet, retest in a few days. Blue dye tests are horrible buy a pink dye. Gl
