Pumping to induce labor?

Has anyone ever tried nipple stimulation by pumping to induce labor? Did it work?? And if it did how fast did you go into labor?

Before I had my baby my doctor said I could try to pump to induce labor if I wanted to but he wouldn't come until he's ready. Turns out I didn't need to I went into labor naturally but I was going to try it. My doctor did say that once the contractions start to stop pumping until the cramps stop coming

I breastfed all through my second pregnancy, it would give me cramps at times but it definitely won't bring on labor until baby is ready to come

I tried everything last time. I just got a bunch of painful cramps with no dilation.

My family doctor told me she tried that with her second child and it actually did work for her !! Soo who knows 😌
