Diapers that don't fit?

Question

We couldn't find the diapers we had been using and got a different brand of NB size. 
They say up to 10lbs and our lil boy is only 8lbs so I know it's not the size. But we noticed they squeeze his legs so we stopped using them. 
Are we able to return them even though they are opened and we used a few? It was a $40 box!
What do you do?

Normally they don't, since it's open but you can try. You could also sell them on fb or something if only a few are missing. Different brands size differently

I was able to return them to Walmart- just told them they didn't fit right. Store credit since I didn't have the receipt. 
No issues!
I will be sticking with the brand that fits him right! Even if I have to order online!

Call the company. I did that on some that broke my nephew and daughter out. They sent a packing label so I could ship them back and a visa card for the cost of them.

I'm pregnant with babies #1 and 2 I have absolutely no idea what to do in that situation haha I would call the store where I got them first, tell them the situation and see what they say. If they say no, I would try calling the company of diapers and tell them what happened and see what they say. If they both say no, I would see if there was anyone I knew who I could give them to

Most of the time once they are tight in a thigh you go up a size. Weight doesn't mean anything.

If they don't take them back try calling the company that makes them and explain that you were trying to try out their brand and their package says 10lbs and see if they can do anything for you

That sucks. I always switch my dd out of diapers before the recommended weight. I would try to sell them on a mommy group on Facebook.

Depends where you got them. Costco will take them back and babies r us does too I've heard. Ask at target and Walmart, I have heard mixed results.
