I'm 17 and recently just started taking birth control, I'm taking Amethia. I don't want to talk to my mom about it until I'm completely sure but I last had sex on august 29th & we were safe. I ended up having my period a week or so later & then began the pill on September 6th. I thought everything was fine since I had my period but since then I've had breast tenderness, nausea, dizziness and headaches (occasionally). I feel like its just the side affects from the pill but I would like some more input, I went in and bought a pregnancy test today but I haven't taken it yet. When would be the best time to take it? Also my periods are pretty regular and I'm currently now on the type of birth control that makes it so I have a period every three months.
