Transnational or regular?

If I am scheduled to go to the doctor when I should be almost 8 or almost 9 weeks, would they do a transvaginal ultrasound or just a regular?

I had my first appt at 7 weeks and they did transvaginal.

I'm 8 weeks and 3 days and they did both this past Saturday when I went. I'm guessing the transvaginal gives them a better view when you're early in your pregnancy. Best of luck to you.

They might do both depending on what they see, but they will start with a belly one as your bladder needs to be full and then the internal one your bladder needs to be empty.
