Where is my period???

Question

I stopped taking the pill after almost 6 straight years August 29th because I'm TTC but I haven't had my period yet and I know I'm not pregnant. Has anyone else experienced this? I want to have my period so I can track ovulation. How long will this take? I really want to be pregnant soon!

I was on bc for years (about 5) and when I stopped I didn't have one for six months. It's completely normal, however if you are anxious to start your period again there are several natural and medical ways you can help. I have done both. The first time I stopped taking birth control I was given a drug by my doctor to start my period. It worked great, but it is putting chemicals into your body. 
The second time I stopped taking it, I tried a more natural approach. I started doing fertility yoga. It started up my period within two weeks. I did it every evening for about an hour.

I stopped my bc in august had a withdraw cycle few days after then next cycle  was almost 30 days from the last one but was late I was on bc for 5 years..

I was on the pill for 10 years when I went off to try to conceive my daughter. I honestly got pregnant the first month with no complications. I never did get my period. They did say I ovulated late like at about three and a half weeks/four weeks after I stopped taking it. I didn't get my postirice test until about 6 weeks after going off.

According to my doctor it came take 3 to 6 months to have a regular period after birth control and up to a year to get pregnant.

I stopped my birth control after 4 years had my first period a week later, I was on the pill.
