If it's necessary of course I will. Spankings are part of the reason I was such a good kid and why I'm a respectful human being today. I swear parents today are too lenient on their children. Spankings make you listen. Who ever got spanked for something they did wrong and did it again? Not me. 😂

I'm going to use the time outs, saying no, etc first. When that don't work, I will. But I will never hurt them.

Nope, I don't think it's necessary to use violence to teach a child right from wrong or to discipline them.

It really depends on the child, I responded really well to it as a kid. My son, on the other hand, is devistated by time out lol.

There's a difference between spanking and abuse. A little pop on the butt or a few smacks with a switch is okay but I don't believe in the belt or a hand because my dad left bruises on me when he used to punish me

I did a couple of times. It made me feel awful so I quit. She does just fine with verbal correction, restriction, time out, etc
