My husband's coworkers (age range about 21-30) asked him what I do -like what's my job- and he told them I am a stay at home wife / soon to be mom.

They replied with "Does that mean she doesn't have a job?" And when my husband told them my job is taking care of the home, one of them asked him if he hits me.

WTF??? All I could do when he told me about it was laugh, so just because we prefer more traditional roles for our marriage, suddenly he's an abuser. Wow. I seriously hope that coworker realizes how dumb he must have sounded.

Sorry, just needed to vent a little.

Anyone else ever have something like this happen? How did you or you SO handle the situation?
