When will you announce your pregnancy to your nearest and dearest?

I was just wondering when you will/did/suggest you announce your pregnancy? I've just found out I'm pregnant with my first, please God!

I just found out yesterday and I told my mom last night. Gonna wait til after my first dr appt to tell my daughter and then 12 weeks for everyone else. Just to be safe.

I'm not sure since ive had 2 chemicals, I might wait until I get blood results from doctor

I'll be close to 12 weeks around thanksgiving and we always have both families over to celebrate. We're going to tell them all then.

I want to tell my mom in person and I won't be seeing her until Christmas (she lives in another country) so we're waiting and telling all our friends and family at the same time.  I'll be nearly 17 weeks pregnant by then :-/ hopefully the scrubs I work in and my retroverted uterus and long torso will help hide it for the most part.
