Anyone NOT sharing name ideas with friends/family?

Personally we don't share name ideas with our friends/family. I want the name we choose to be something we are happy with and I think early feedback could be unconstructive or distracting to something we like. We had minor feedback from one person after our first baby was born and I let it be known I wasn't interested in their input. But what do you think? Do you enjoy trying out names with those close to you?
