Vomiting during my period: is it normal?

I have a pretty regular period but I sometimes get really bad cramps and vomit. Usually on the first day of my period and the second but then I'm okay. During those two days it's hard to keep anything down (food and water). I've though about seeing my doctor about but I just wanted to see if this was normal or not. Please help! Much appreciated. :)

If they're so painful you vomit, that can be normal, but it's not fun to deal with. You should see your doctor and check for any reproductive disorders, as well as discuss what birth control could help with that.

For me the best thing that helped with my PCOS, periods so heavy they'd soak a maxi pad or tampon in 1.5 hours and cramps so severe they'd knock me out. Now they're so light I rarely need a liner, and my cramps are just little tickle was to cut all soy, beef/dairy products from cows treated with rbst, chia/flax seeds. (Soy is in practically everything!! It sucks!)
