Went in this morning. I am 40+5 and doctor knows I don't wanna be induced so she tried a sweep instead and we set the induction late this week if it doesn't work. She did it around 10:45ish. Still cramping and slight bleeding. Definite low back pain. Don't know if this was the smartest thing to do considering I work tonight 1-9 (life of a pharmacist!). For ladies who it worked, how soon did you go into labor? And for those who had it and it didn't work, how long did the crampy side effects last before it wore off (if at all)? Deciding if I should call of work or not.... Today was supposed to be my last shift and was trying to hold out!
