Is Zofran safe?

I was prescribed Zofran today cause of nausea. Ive heard bad things and good things about it.
What do you ladiea think?

I don't know but that is the only thing that helps me 😔 praying for a healthy baby because mommy would be in the hospital without it

There are cases out there linking Zofran and some birth defects. For me it was a decision between ending up in the hospital due to dehydration and taking Zofran. I decided to take Zofran. There are risks associated with everything. It is important to make the decision that is best for you and your situation.

I had a friend who had hypermesis (morning sickness on steroids) and she had to take it for four months at the end of her pregnancy. Baby girl was just fine and is five years old now!

I have severe morning sickness and took Zofran for 2mo straight. The doctor said it was fine, yes there's a lot of studies stating otherwise. But this was the only way I would survive the day. Unfortunately the side effects suck!! I was constipated and my eye sight changed. It got so bad I was scared to drive. So the doc took me off of it, I'm still sick but not as bad before.

I've had serious morning sickness the past 2 days, can't keep anything down. I work at a reproductive endocrinologist's office and when I couldn't keep water down at work today they hooked me right up to an IV and gave me 8mg of zofran through it. If it helps - take it!

I took Zofran my entire pregnancy my first time and my baby girl was perfectly healthy and she's 6 now with no issues :)

My mom took it her whole pregnancy with my sister and she turned out fine. If there is side effects then it would be she's a brat and spoiled at 2 lol.
