Late..

I took a test when I was 1 day late and it was a BFN.. I'm now on day 4 late but haven't tested again. Do you ladies think I'm just missing a period or could there really not have been enough hgc level in my urine at 1 day late to detect pregnancy. My cycles are spot on 28 days.
