Did anyone use the Shettle's method to try for a certain gender?

If so... Did it work? We have a week and a half until our anatomy scan and I can't wait to see!!!😀

I was positive I would be having a boy since we conceived the day of ovulation.  Test came back and it was a girl:)

We attempted it, but my husband doesn't follow instructions very well. I think I may have ovulated early which could mess things up when trying for a Girl.

We find out Thursday...I think it's a boy, everyone else thinks girl and wives takes say girl.

Fingers crossed! I'll update when we find out.

My sister and her hubs were only able to BD on day 11 when they conceived baby #1, and she had a girl so inadvertently worked! Then with number two they were trying for a boy and BD on days 15 and 16 and they had a boy! My hubs was away for work during most of my fertile week when we conceived so we BD on day 10 and days 15 16 17 so we could go either way hahahha but we aren't finding out until the little one arrives in February!

We didn't actively use Shettles method but my husband was away while i ovulated so we only had a chance a few days beforehand... And we are having a girl! So it "worked" for us even though we weren't being proactive about gender in any regard.
