What should I do??

So I'm 18 and I'm sort of talking to a 24 year old w/ 2 kids. He's a great guy and everything. I haven't told my mom anything but honestly I'm scared to tell her. I'm scared she won't accept that and she'll make me stop talking to him. I still live in her house btw.

Give it some time & see where things go, then tell her. Either way, I don't think you should allow your mom to tell you that you can't see him. You're an adult & it is your choice who you date. She can certainly say rhat she doesn't support it & that she doesn't want him at your house, but don't let her control your life just because you still live with her. Respect her opinion & her wishes, but don't be bullied into not seeing someone who you want to see.
