Anyone of you scheduled c-section?

Today, my Dr. scheduled my c-section @38w6d

Is that too early or normal?
My Dr. nurse says I can't eat nor drink after midnight, is your Dr. Midwife or Nurse told you too?

As far as I understand, they can't legally preform one under 39 weeks unless it's deemed medically necessary. Mine is scheduled for almost 40 weeks, and yes I'm a little ticked I have to go an extra week lol.

Mine is for exactly 39 weeks. I'm due the Monday after thanksgiving and they wouldn't do the week before thanksgiving so we did that Monday before everyone leaves for the week. I'm getting excited. And nervous.

Mine is scheduled for 39 + 4.  It was going to be on my due date but my doctors out of town so I'm going a little earlier.  I wanted to wait as long as possible and have never gone into labor naturally so my doctor was ok with it.

Mines scheduled for 37 weeks exactly. I have preterm labor issues and other cervical problems which is why so early. But they've also told me nothing to eat or drink past midnight. And csection isn't until 1. I should be super happy. Lol!!

Mine is scheduled for 37-38 weeks but this is due to complete placenta previa and my son measuring small so better out then in.

Just scheduled mine yesterday for three days befor I'm due :/ but, I'm due on a Saturday and they schedule surgeries for Mon.-Wed. And each day is a different doc. Plus with my DH's work schedule, this'll give us a full week together before he has to go back to work and that's awesome because we also have a 3 year old boy lol baby Kai will be here 11/11!

Seems about normal. You're damn near 39 weeks. My cesarean was scheduled for 38+1 but I went into labor at 34+1
