Guys I feel like I'm dying. Anyone else have a cold right now? Started with a sore throat about a week and a half ago and this past Friday turned into a full blown cold. It's hard being pregnant and either being scared to take meds or just having certain meds you can't take. I'm using Benadryl and Tylenol, hot lemon/honey tea, and cough drops. Not much else to use considering I'm only 5 wks 4 days. The congestion is one thing- but this cough is insane. The midwife on call last night said pregnancy colds are common because your immune system is suppressed and usually last longer than they normally would. Glad to hear her say though that colds do not affect the baby! I teach 1st grade so there's not much I can do about avoiding germs 😏
