4 Days late😳

My SO and I have been trying to conceive for 5 months now. I always get tease been 1-3 days late, but last month my period came exactly on the dot. I want to take a pregnancy test, but I am truly scared that it will come out negative. My SO says we should wait a couple more days but I'm

just and emotionally, hungry reck😭 Should I wait a few more days or just run to the pharmacy for a test?

P.S No this is not my first child.
