How much does your baby eat?

My little guy is 6 weeks old and for a couple weeks, (when I had to start giving bottles) I realized my boy has been eating 4oz bottles ever 2-3 hours. No wonder I could never build a stock after he nursed lol. Now he's wanting between 4-5 oz, Everybody is always surprised he is eating so much for his age. He's a big boy I know, but what's the usual for a 6 week old?

I think he's anywhere between 10-12 lbs right now, we just try it by getting on a scale with him and without him to see.

Mine is 6 weeks and eats 4oz every two to three hours! I thought it was just her lol but she's so chubby but the doctor was happy. She was 7 lbs at birth now 12 lbs

This is just a suggestion! If it's formula at least, But maybe could apply to Breastmilk?

My son is 7 weeks and eats nonstop. Anywhere from 3-4 oz every 2-3 hrs. He was born 6.4lbs and is now 11.14lbs. As long as he's not throwing up, doc said it's okay.

my babes also 6 weeks and he's having 4 ounce bottles. Once my milk supply diminished  he's been drinking  3-4 since 3 weeks . He was born 6.6 pounds now he's 9.3. Doctors said its perfectly fine as long as he's not spitting up

My little one has been eating 4 oz each time every 3-4 hours since he was about 3 weeks. If I didn't give him his 4 ounces he'd scream until he got more.. So it just depends on your baby.

My boy is 4weeks old eating 3-5oz every 2-4hours. He was born at 8lbs and now is 12lbs. He's growing so dang fast!

My daughter is 9 weeks and eat 4 1/2-5 ounces every 3-4 hours. Sometime an hour later she'll want more and can eat up to 3 more ounces. It's not every single time, she just fluctuates.
