Animal behavior to pregnant women

AF was suppose to come 6 days ago. Thought I got a vvvvf positive 3 nights ago only to retest the next morning to a BFN. But for the past week my kitten has been acting very strange. He will run to the bathroom when ever I go pee, and soon as I stand up will stick his whole face into the toilet bowl. I know animals can sense things. You think I'm reading too much into it? Anyone else have a similar story of their animals acting different before or after finding out they were pregnant?
