When to start lamaze?

I am 34 weeks 5 days.. No word from doc on when to start lamaze classes and no suggestion to.. May be induced at 38 weeks due to gestational dm and hypertension... So should i do it now or wait to ask at my apt next week?

Our hospital suggests taking classes 6-8 weeks prior to your due date. We took labor and preparation express (one day class) last week and going to take newborn care next week. I'm due 11/17.

I've signed up for our classes but our hospital doesn't let you do them till you're 4-6 weeks out from your EDD. There's 3 classes and the last is November 19 and I'm due the 25th.

Ask your doctor if your hospital or something offers it, but look into it for sure because your so close and you never know when the class is, and you don't want to wait too long and never get a chance to take the class. Good luck!

I was told by my hospital that I had to sign up and have my classes at 28-32 weeks...I procrastinated at started them at 31 weeks now I don't think I'll be there for the last one :( I'd call your hospital and check, they usually fill up quick!

I registered 2 months ago for classes at the hospital well deliver at. We do them at 36 weeks which I'm a little nervous is to late. I would check with the hospital you'll deliver at. Most only have specific dates/times available and classes fill up fast.
