First papsmear

Yesterday I got my first papsmear and I am a little confused. They said it wouldn't hurt which it did and they said it would not make me sore for days after. I understand that this just happened yesterday but still. I'm cramping and I have never even cramped this bad on my period. It hurts to sit down and it's miserable, which by the way I have never felt this sore from sex even. Also when I pee I'm so sore that it kind of hurts to pee. And this has never once been an issue either. I'm bleeding a bit because they said I bled during the papsmear which is normal. But come on, has anyone else experienced this? Is this normal? Any tips to help get through this?
