Can't get her out of bed
First I'd just like to point out I am a male so be easy on me as I'm not on this glow app very much. I'm here because I cannot get my fiancé out of bed. She has always had severely bad depression and has been on numerous medicines. We've been together for years and she has had her ups and downs. She recently has quit her job, and although she has been applying for new jobs, she has barely gotten out of bed/off the couch. She lays in the dark and sleeps almost non stop. She also cries a lot for what seems like no reason..I came home today, she's sleeping on the couch in the dark and there's tons of laundry (clean and dirty) piled high, stacks of dishes piled high..the house is a mess. I do my best to keep it all cleaned up but like I said, I work full time crazy hours. I'm not mad at her, I'm just worried. This isn't just her being lazy I know that. She sometimes talks about how unhappy she is and wishes she wasn't alive (but says she does not want to act on those feelings) so as far as I know I don't believe she's suicidial? She's never hurt herself or acted suicidal and I know she WANTS to live, she just has a very hard time. It just breaks my heart to hear her say these things and see her this way and I'm not sure what to do. She refuses to go back on her medicine but I don't feel she needs to be committed into a psych ward (maybe I'm wrong?) I just need some advice/suggestions from anyone who's maybe gone through this before. We've been TTC (in the past, NOT CURRENTLY. Sorry I didn't make that clear in original post) and I know she is on this app a lot for advice on things and that's why I'm turning to it.
