Went in for a confirmation yesterday & Doctor did an ultrasound. I am 6 weeks today so yesterday was 5w+6 days. The ultrasound only showed us an empty gestational sack. No yolk sack, fetal pole or heart beat, just empty. They want me to come back in a week for a follow up u/s. Has anyone had a similar experience and what was your outcome? I am trying to stay positive but trying not to be too optimistic. I have had zero spotting or bleeding whatsoever. I know my dates are not off because I tested on the day of my expected period 3 weeks ago.
