Menstrual like cramping?

I have been having these lately, last night they were pretty weird and consistent until I fell asleep. Anyone else? I've never felt anything like them before during pregnancy but they are coming back today. I'm 28+1 today With twins. Any experience? Advice?

Call your doctor. Menstrual like cramping is a sign of preterm labor and not normal this far along in pregnancy.

I am 25+4 weeks with identical boys. I have just recently been getting those period crampy pains down low right above my pelvis. The nurse said it's my pelvic bones shifting. I know it happens when I overdue my activities :/ Trying to be more conscious of that, as I get bad lower back pain at the same time, and sometimes pelvic pressure + Braxton hicks. I know those are pre-labor signs so I don't want to kick start anything! My nurse said to lay down for an hour to see if they go away, and so far they always do!
