Sharp pains

I'm 38 weeks pregnant today, and sometimes I will randomly get these sharp pain from my belly button down to my vagina. The pain feels like someone like pricked me with a needle but on the inside of the body. Sometimes it will just be a couple of them a few seconds or minutes apart and sometimes it can be back to back with some minor feeling ones and sometimes a couple of real strong ones. I don't believe it's contractions, personally I feel that it may be of where my girl is laying on some nerves or something like that. Has anyone else have this going on?
