Any advice!?!

So I'm 38 weeks and 6 days. I've been loosing small pieces of my mucus plug for a couple weeks now. But yesterday at my appointment I was 2cm dilated an 50%thinned an had my membrane swept. Well a little bit ago I started having tons and tons of brown mucus and now I'm having even more bloody like mucus. Does this mean labor is on its way or could I still have awhile??
