I had a 37 week check-up, my regular OB appointment on Monday morning, i was having back pains and just very very low cramps in my lower stomach but they would go away. I told my doctor and she said that it was fine and blah blah blah. Well the week before we found out baby was breech, and this week, he was still as was which kinda bummed me out. She didnt check for any dilation and told me that we'll give baby boy one more week to go ahead and possible flip by some miracle.. The day starts to go by, my pain in my back is slowly progressing.. I deal with it as well as i could.. Its getting later in the afternoon, and the pains are back to back non stop. Now remind you, i was having NO contractions, my water hadnt broken and i wasnt getting the cramps in my lower stomach.. The pain in my back got unbearable that i couldnt walk or breathe.. I had to cry out, my mom had asked me if i wanted to go to the hospital and i wasnt too sure that i should.. Well they were becoming more constant.. So we headed out! As soon as we got to the hospital, they took me up to the labor and delivery floor, got me hooked up to the fetal monitor and as soon as they got me all hooked up, a back pain started coming on. Sure enough, it registered as contractions.. I had this feeling, not pressure at all but this wierd tingling feeling around my butt, like i was about to expell everywhere... So i tols the nurse, i said "i need to get up, im about to poop all over, but i DONT feel pressure" so as soon as i said that, she had checked me to see if i was dilated any... Her response, "youre not getting up to do anything, youre 4 centimeters dilated". I was freaking out, my boyfriend was an hour away. My mom was the only person up there with me, and everything was just happening in such a hurry! I was getting freaked out, because i wasnt prepared for a c-section.. Not physically or mentally... I was still hoping i had another week of all this crap! Lol, but anyways, they had taken me back to do the C-section. They numbed me, laud me down, i look out the window on the door, low and behold, my boyfriend was running through the doors!! He held my hand the whole entire time, and comforted me, letting me know wverything was going to be OK. Finally we here our baby boys cry... It was such a joyous but sad moment. A good kind of sad, ya know? They finished stitching me up, and putting me back together. And after about an hour in recovery, they let me have my baby boy. 💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙
