I actually do a ceremony every Samhain for those in my life who have died or who really need help.

What I do is write a short letter to each person who has died or a prayer for the ones who need it and then my teacher sets up a small ritual area, says a prayer so that each will find the intended person and then he burns them.

It's a simple ceremony, but it's always beautiful to watch.
