Yes, it is more likely. But when that happens, make sure you use a condom or don't have sex that day if you don't want to risk it. 😁

Taking your pill +/- an hour is considered perfect use (also based on having sex 3 times a week, no vomiting or diarrhoea, medications that interact) and will give you 99.7% protection. You're currently a typical user, meaning you take your pill at variable times but never later than 12 hours. This means you are around 91% protected. 99.7% mean that 3 in 1000 women will fall pregnant on the pill in one year. 91% means that 9 in 100 women will fall pregnant in one year. I know which odd I would rather take!
