You two have to be comfortable communicating. Find out what he likes. Ask him to tell you if what you are doing isnt working. Communicating works best.

Though i guess for starters twisting your hand while working it up and down and having a firm but not too hard grip works pretty well (apparently heaps of guys like it i know this because my fiance told me to try it when some of his guy friends talked about it... Eesh men are strange sometimes)
