Semen analysis? IVF

Question

Anyone trying IVF who had a problem with the semen? My husband has a motility you only 6%. We are going in for a consultation for IVF on the 20th of this month and I'm just freaking out. Is anyone know the chances of us getting pregnant? Just let me know your stories. I'd love a glimmer of hope when this seems endless. how many rounds of IVF would you do befor seeking another options?

Don't worry about it, they will tell you everything you need to know. Remember it only takes one out of millions!! My hubby and I have just had a positive result after our first round of ICSI as they told us IVF wouldn't be successful for us. He had a low count, mobility and mutations. They asked him to make a back up sample before I had my eggs collected as well as a main sample so we knew we would definitely have something to use on the day. 
If this isn't possible for u, they will discuss your options. You'd be amazed what they can do when you feel there's no hope. Hope all goes well, try to relax there's a long road ahead! :)

My husband and I did IVF ICSI with 0% motility.

We had 2/20 eggs fertilize and survive with my husbands sperm, and we transferred two embryos from that this morning.

It's possible. I don't know if they will stick, but I'm hoping they will.

Unfortunately- low motility is a big problem and ICSI does not help much. 
My husbands motility was 5% and it went to 0%

If your husbands goes to 0%, they can still use ICSI, but there's no way for them to tell if the sperm is viable or not. It's complete hit or miss.

They can 'bypass' that by doing ICSI, so it should be an issue. 
Each clinic is different, but mine was more expensive to do that. So we researched natural ways to increase quality and quantity. My husband took CoQ10 and Zinc, and also did acupuncture through a clinic specialising in fertility. The Scientist actually complimented him on his sample! Was awkward, but impressive.
