Can we take cod liver oil tablets??

Hi,
I'm 30 weeks and was wondering can I take cod liver oil plus omega 3 fish oil tablets????
I asked my midwife and she didn't know !!! Does any one know ???

Cod liver oil is not recommended in pregnancy due to high vitamin A content that can harm your unborn baby. Omega 3 is fine in the right dose which is 200mg a day i think.
