Panorama Test cost

So I'm having a moment of panic! I just got an email from my insurance saying a new claim had been processed. It was for my panorama test (thru Natera). It's showing that my insurance denied the claim and that my responsibility is over $7000!!!! Is that real?? For a blood test? We can't afford to pay that! My doctor didn't say anything about the cost of the test. I knew there was a chance the insurance would deny it but I never dreamed it would be that expensive. One of the reasons I wanted to do the test is because I'm adopted and don't know any of my medical history. Somebody please tell me this happened to you and you didn't end up paying anywhere near $7000!
