Can I skip a month of BC and then get back on after ?

I need to see why my metabolism and weight loss has been so impossible lately and I read that it could be due to my BC pill. Would stopping for a month and restarting effect anything other than not being protected if I have sex?

Itll mess with your hormones and I dont think youll feel very well, but I suppose you COULD do it

It'll most likely just mess with your period after you start back up again. Not for long, though, you'll be fine. I'm not doctor, though, so if you want a legitimate and professional answer I wouldn't take my word for it. 😊

I have no idea, that's a good question. I would just give my doc or OB a call and check just to be sure.
