Is it possible to ovulate the day after a period?

I normally only have a period for about four days...on the third day of my period my husband and I did the "baby dance" my period stopped and never came back the next two days I cramped had pelvic pain and discharge...is it possible to ovulate that soon after a period and if so how can I calculate all my dates properly! Please help I'm new to all of this!
