Getting pregnant while on your period?

Has anyone gotten pregnant while on their period? Meaning me and my so have sex while on my cycle now that we are TTC I wanted to know if its possible to conceive during that time?

I had sex on day 6 or 7 I can't remember and I have a four year old daughter now. Wasn't even trying! Didn't even know I missed my period. My boyfriend had said maybe I should test and sure enough. Total surprise!

I know a woman who got Conceived on her last days of period while still spotting..I also have a friend who still got her period and later found out she was a few months pregnant.

It's pretty unlikely, but it is possible. My mom got pregnant with me while she was on her period. The chances are very slim though.

You don't ovulate while on your period you ovulate a week later or about there depending on how long your cycle is. But you have about 48 hours that the egg is able to conceive. Sperm can live in the vagina for five days but even then the sperm wouldn't survive till ovulation. So no it's not possible to get pregnant on your period. Sorry
