Teen girl, heavy period with sever cramping.. have a boyfriend of 10 months and have been considering moving our intimacy relationship up more but want to be as safe as possible. What birth control do you guys think is best? and what is the age for an IUD?

I was the same way when I was 17. My period would make me so sick because it was so heavy and the cramps were so bad (TMI lol) but my ob prescribed me Gildess FE 1/20, which is the generic brand for Microgestin 1/20. It has worked miracles for me. I still have a period but it's very light with zero cramps. I love my pill lol
