It's be hard raising a child that isn't actually mine but knowing how badly I wanted kids I most definitely would step in when someone else couldn't. There are some many kids in the system desperately wanting a family to love them and call their own.

I already have my princess and I've always wanted my prince. I always told myself I'd have anywhere between 2-4 kids. If I didn't get my prince I would try again and if I still didn't get my prince I would adopt. Every child deserves a home. It's not their fault who their parents are or ethnicity. It's not their fault they got shafted out of a family. I've decided I don't want anymore kids though, but you never know. It could change.

I would love to adopt a child, regardless of whether we can have our own or not. There are so many children out there without a family tags it is heart breaking. My husband is not sure if he would adopt unless we couldn't have our own children. We talked about it and he would if we weren't able, just not sure yet if he would do so otherwise. I think once you have a child it also changes. Friends of mine were not open to it until they had their own and realized there is so much love to give that is doesn't have to be your own blood to love a child as if it was.

We discussed this. My husband and I agreed that if we were unable to have our own children that we would not adopt. People may think it's selfish or whatever but we both have adopted kids in our families and they are absolute nightmares. We would not want to deal with the potential baggage that comes with an unknown background. My adopted cousin accused almost every man in my family of raping her and it caused a ton of problems. Ruined marriages all because she didn't want to deal with my aunts rules and figured she could go to a different family if she said she was raped. Sorry, not taking that chance.
