When is a good time to have a baby after your married?

I'm getting married in July and I'm only going to be 22. He will be 25. What age do you think would be good to have a baby? We are financially stable right now but we want to have a baby after we're married because it's the right thing for us to do. Any thoughts?

I've been wondering the same thing! We get married in July. He's 22 and I'm 23. We are financially stable as well and we do want to have some vacation/married life together before we bring a child into the family. We've talked about 1-3 years after we get married. We'll have been married and had our alone time. We also think it depends on how we feel too. If we want to travel etc more then we'll wait.

I got married July 12.14 (I was 21 and he was 23 then) I always thought that I would have a baby right away but we decided to wait awhile so that we can enjoy each other. We are so looking forward to that point in our lives but we are also just enjoying where we are now!! Don't feel like you have to rush into it. At this point we aren't trying but if it happens it will be nice!
