Funniest thing you or your partner said/did during labor?!

Thought this would be a fun topic! :)

Our First: 15 hours in of hard labor, I had been awake for over 24 hrs. I was exhausted and started passing out between contractions. I came to and looked up at my SO and he says "you look so peaceful" I'M PASSING OUT! How on earth is that peaceful?! I know he had good intentions but com'on! Lol And then right after, I mean within minutes, of our son being born, SO goes "Perfect! Time to start on the next one!"
Our second: On the way to the hospital, contractions were coming close and hard, my SO went over train tracks... I desperately told him "No more train tracks, no bumps, no potholes! Maybe if you drive slower it might help  *contraction hits*  Just kidding drive as fast as possible, don't stop!" Haha I was at 8cm when we arrived. I also said during pushing "Oh my gosh, ring of fire, I can't do this! I changed my mind" He was great during this labor!

I didn't say or do anything strange with my first, however, my L&D nurse was like a crazy soccer mom who kept screaming "FAST AND FURIOUS! Go girl!" to me while I was pushing. Finally, my OB looked at her and said "if you don't shut up right now I'm going to ask you to leave the room, you are clearly causing us all distress."  Needless to say, she shut up and two pushes later, my Anna Elise was born.

With my 2nd baby, my husbands 1st, he was kinda nervous because he's never been around child birth at all. I went all natural at the hospital. I had hard fast contractions back to back, I wasn't able to talk calmly to anyone. I was in the middle of pushing and suddenly everything stopped, no contractions, no pain, I stopped and looked at my husband and asked " How are you? Are you ok?" He was like "um yeah, I'm fine." The whole room was laughing! Here I am almost crowning asking how my hubby's holding up. Then it started right back up and out came the baby. My mom still laughs at me about it.

Because I got the epi they had to catherterize me because I couldn't walk to the bathroom. They didn't leave the catherter in so I looked at my SO shortly after they took it out and I said I think I just peed. Well he checked and sure enough I did and it was going down my leg. The look on his face made me laugh and pee even more so he started going "OMG nurse we need a new bed in here she's pooping out of her vagina!"(due to the iodine my urine looked brown) he made us all laugh during this time and I looked at him and said "stop making me laugh the baby's going to come out" well 2 mins after this we started pushing and 1 hr and 4 mins later I was holding my 8 lb 8.3 oz 20 3/4 inch long baby on my chest :)

I didn't really have room to speak lol, because I was in so much pain, and hot and throwing up before I got the epidural. But what is hilarious to me is that I'm so self conscious about my body and I HATE people looking at me like if I'm in a swimsuit and even my honey of 10years I hate him staring at my body, but when I got to L&D all of that went out the window, my bare butt was out and I didn't care one bit. I shoved that blanket off of me lol and I was just laying there in my sports bra and my butt out 😂😂😂 AND my butt was facing my fiancé the entire time. In the triage room and when i moved to a room.

I had a water birth and at one point my head went under during a contraction. When I got done I laughed and said "I guess I should have brought my snorkel." Cracking jokes like that was the only thing that got my through labor. I tried to keep things as light hearted as possible to distract me from the pain.

With our daughter I literally didn't talk the entire 12 hours I just kept my eyes shut and focused on what I was doing. I wasn't making any noises even during pushing so the nurses kept bothering me asking if I was ok, so finally I had to say I was fine. My husband however kept taking naps and he talks in his sleep. He mumbled something about , "seven years in dog kennel" ? I have no clue. And my hubby is a chatterbox so he was like getting all the nurses life stories and trying to sell them things from his job which ticked me off but he was nervous. Second baby we lost in June and had an emergency D&C end of July because I almost bled to death and was in shock, I don't really remember anything from that day. And we're currently pregnant with our third so who knows what's going to happen.
