Anyone else's partner work away???

I'm finding it really hard to deal with my partner working away!! Find myself being super moody and over sensitive and am actually pushing him away!!!

My husband is army and is gone a LOT. I've learned to keep an even keel emotionally, separations/reconnections go so much smoothly if you don't push him away or pick fights because of distance

Thanks guys. My partner only started working away 2 months ago. I should be grateful he is home sat/sun but I don't know if this is worse as every Monday it hits me again that he's gone. I'm quite admittedly a needy person. It's like every Monday it hits me hard and find it hard to get out of!! It makes things worse cos I am a nurse who works permanent nights and he works days so we don't even really get chance to have any form of communication! It sucks 😭

My hubby travels for months out of the year. I normally go with him but with baby on way I can't go. He's been gone 3 months :(

My boyfriend is in the Army and I've went 6 months without him (the longest) and usually in between visits it's aye here from 1 week to a month before I see home again and we've been together for 20 months. We've made it work :) yes I am very frustrated many days and wish I had someone physically here to rely on emotionally and physically but in the long run we want to spend the rest of forever together so distance doesn't matter, the love and communication does

My DF works away. Right now he's on a four week rotation where he works for four weeks and then he's home for four weeks. He's had this job since before we got together so I'm used to it but I do miss him terribly when he's gone
