How common is chemical pregnancy?

Hi everyone, my husband and I found out this week we are pregnant with baby #1! While I am overjoyed and thankful for God to answer our prayers, I am also really scared to have a chemical pregnancy. This is my first pregnancy and I just want to have a healthy 9months. I wanted to ask how common it is for a miscarriage? I am 25 and considered in good health.

Miscarriage occurs in approximately 25% of pregnancies. That is not the same as chemical. Chemical pregnancies are estimated at as high as 50% but usually they end before a missed period so women don't know about the pregnancy

Congratulations Lauren! I don't have an answer for to your question, but wanted to wish you a happy healthy pregnancy. I'm 25 and expecting my first as well. I'm extremely nervous and have all the same questions. Keep us all updated!

We r the same age so my doctor told me 15% chance of  a miscarriage. 50% out of the miscarriages are chemical pregnancies. Happy 9 months to you :)

Don't worry :). I've had 3 losses but I'm in the vast minority. Try to relax and enjoy.
