Do you feel you are doing it all by yourself?
This past mothers day, I kinda had a lil breakdown. Long story short, I was playing with my twin cousins after church when my sister came to get me to come take a family picture. The twins mom said "I can see you with twins" And thats when I told her I wanted twins. My oldest sister overheard that & blurted out "You wouldn't even know what to do with twins" I told her, "Just cause you wouldn't be able to handle twins doesn't mean I can't" She has two kids already so I shouldn't have said that. But then she blurts out loud & angily, "You're not even a mother, so you wouldn't know!!!" It hurt because my husband and I had been trying to conceive for a couple of months but had not said anything cause we didn't think it was anyones business. Right after that I broke down while driving out the parking lot of church & my middle sister (Im the youngest of the 3) started talking about how she is glad I want to be a mother but its a hard 24/7 job & how my husband will barely help me. She started saying how I will end up doing most of it on my own & men don't do shit after the baby is born even when they say they will etc. As a 28 year old woman, I'm very aware of this, but is this something that some Mom's feel or do all Mom's feel like you're doing everything on your own? I feel like they're bitter, I've barely spoken to both of them since then because a lot of things my husband does for me, they're husbands don't do.
