Tuesday, Sept 29th i received a phone call stating that I have Cholestasis (a liver condition. Pretty harmless besides itching for mommy but fatal for lil man) and basically I will be induced within the next week (4 weeks early). I was told to go straight to Labor&Delivery if no movement is felt before the next mornings emergency labs and tests. So many emotions came and went (1st I laughed due to the thought Ashton will actually be here the following week. Next I was sad/worried/paranoid with thinking how would I know if he's just resting or not. Then I became angry, because if its so serious just induce me NOW, why put us through this. Lastly I was calm because I serve the most high and I know He would see us through) Wednesday, Sept 30th went to base medical bright and early and was told my bile acid levels. To be considered high your levels are around 14, mines on the other hand were 203😳😳 (this is literally the look Tay and I had, followed by a "DAMN!") We were informed that Ashton could just up and stop breathing at any given moment 😰! I was pulled out of work, to be monitored more closely (every other day to do Non Stress Tests) and given an induction date of Tuesday, Oct 6th at 8pm. Arrived at the hospital at 7:56pm Tuesday, Oct 6th. Was already/only 1cm dilated and 50% effaced. The following morning at 8:30am my water broke, but to no avail, no contractions. We tried string thingy and pills to soften/ripen my cervix, but no luck. Next on the list was Pitocin, which brought on the contractions. I quickly jumped aboard the epidural train, LOL!! Decided to nap and was awoken by my nurse to check to see if I was actually dilating, lo and behold you were knocking at the door. Everything happen so quickly afterwards. Started pushing at midnight and you came into the World (3wks 5days early) on October 8th at 1256am weighing 5lbs 6oz and 19ins long! That's when I fell in love at first sight!!! Welcome ASHTON RILEY TAYBORN👶🏾💙
