What do Braxton hicks contractions actually feel like??

When did you begin to feel them??

--I had a weird, spasm/pressure/idk/weird feeling happen to me today while walking. No pain. Just weird & startling. I'll be 29 weeks On Saturday.

I feel like I have a period cramp for like a minute then it goes away and doesn't come back

At 23 weeks I started having Braxton hicks it honestly felt like my uterus turned in to a rock. It didn't hurt it was just tight as hell like clinched. They go away within a few seconds. In my case im now 27+5 and still have them a couple times a day. They don't hurt but can be uncomfortable

Belly gets hard/tight. Real contractions for me wrap around from front to back and back to front.

Belly gets really tight and hard! You can actually feel the hardness by placing hand on belly. Hard all around. Sometimes may make you feel like you need to poop.

Thanks ladies. This is really helpful. I don't think this is what I felt this morning..
What I felt was more like a pushing down sensation on my pelvis.  Twice & really fast.
Haven't felt it since this morning though.
