Migraine
Vent: So i've have severe migraines every single morning they have gotten worse since pregnant, the one I'm currently having has been constant for almost three days, tylenlol does absolutely nothing for me! I went to the doctor yesterday morning for an emergency visit and the PA prescribes me a nausea medication for a migraine, and then tells me I'll be sleepy!! I told her no medication makes me sleepy but she swears this one will... I didn't realize it was a nausea medication till the tech handed it to me at the window. I'm not wasting my time taking it because its the same nausea medication I was taking in the beginning but had to switch to Zofran because it didn't help at all.. What the hell will a nausea medication do that a pain reliever won't do?!!! I'm trying my hardest not take ibuprofen or Percocet right now but I may just give in (yes I'm allowed to take it, both my OB and my high risk doctor suggested it for my back) just been avoiding for emergency issues.. My neurology referral hasn't kicked in yet so until I see them I'm stuck with this migraine!! I'm just so frustrated because it's affecting my kids right now. Anyone have severe migraines during their pregnancy, what helped you overcome them??
