Breast lumps???

Glow told me to do a breast exam and every time I do I feel lumps... I always just thought they were empty milk glands or something like that. Do you think that's the case? I'm only 22

I’m 21, I have a lump in my boob. It’s quite big and oval and safe to say i freaked out too. It is scary,  but I went to my doctor she told me it can happen before periods and when you’re on birth control etc. It’s very very common in younger ladies! 
But please realise that there is no harm in getting it checked out. 
It’s very likely to be a cyst, swollen glands, hormones or even fatty lumps. 
It’s incredibly common in younger ladies, breast lumps are in general very very common, more common than you think. 
Don’t panic as hard as that may seem, panicking will get you nowhere! 
Give your doctor a call they’ll get you in as soon as they can to give you an examination  x

I think it's better to be safe than sorry, I'm only 18 very young obviously but I felt a massive lump in my boob last year and obviously I was very concerned thinking I had cancer and was going to die but I went to the doctor and had a scan and then had a piece removed for testing (very painful) and turns out it's just what they call a "breast mouse" just a random lump in the boob that's not cancerous or anything it just kind of happens and then goes away eventually but almost a year later it's still here but hopefully goes away soon. I also about 6 months ago realised I had smaller lumps, about the size of peas, in my other breast but they went away within a few days and the doctor said sometimes we have cyclical lumps, and I have since then ten had small lumps that go away within a few days. I would wait a few days and if it is still there I would go see a doctor. I hope you are fine :)

Unless you just gave birth and have a overload of milk supply then I'd say your fine cuz I had lumps when I had an oversupply of milk. But if not I would go to the doctor

So here's the deal with boobies, they're lumpy and weird, other times they feel smooth.

For me I'm 25 and I have PCOS and at totally random times I'll do a breast exam and then leak milk. I've only been pregnant 3 times and never made it past 9 weeks.

That being said, I'd make a point of having a doctor give you a manual breast exam and a mammogram. Most of the literature about cancer says that your 1st mammogram should be after 35. But sometimes there isn't any signs of cancer, or it could just be that you have more lumps in your breasts.

Not fear mongering, but you should have a breast exam and mammogram with your pap smear.

I personally do all 3 twice a year as my family has a strong history of cancer. And I'd rather catch it early than later.

Don't panic, and make an appointment with your doctor.
