Question

So for the heck of it I decided to buy an ovulation test today when I went to the store to buy my pregnancy tests.
I am due for my period in 8 days which I hope it doesn't come....
And so I took a pregnancy test which I know it's too soon so it was BFN. But I also took an ovulation test and it definitely looks positive!!! 
Is it possible to ovulate 8 days before your period?

that is a positive ovulation test however, you could probably assume that you have ovulated already as you are close to your period. to use ovulation tests properly, you need to start testing every day once your period has finished until you get a positive then stop testing. you always have the hormone LH (?) in your system, it just peaks around ovulation and can stay high following that. so you could test positive for ovulation even if it has already happened. hope this helps!
